I have a Yaesu FT-7800 radio which I program manually. I
also have a Baofeng UV-5RE plus with programming cable. I run Windows
7. I have successfully programmed the Baofeng and would like to know if
anyone has used CHIRP and the UV-5RE programming cable to program the Yaesu
FT-7800. The FT-7800 uses a PS2 type connector at the rear of the radio so
I would have to make a custom cable interface which is no problem, I'm just
puzzled over the connections / pinout. Thanks & 73
