</div>I think the number one issue has always been that most tablets do not<br>
have serial or USB ports available for plugging in a radio. Although,<br>
some have USB-OTG. Of those that have USB-OTG, very few (none, that<br>
I've encountered) have a version of the Linux kernel that includes the<br>
standard USB to serial cable drivers. (These are standard on desktop<br>
version of Linux like Ubuntu.)<br>

Once you solve the hardware issues, the next issue is of course<br>
developer interest.<br>

I don't know of anyone working on an Android version, but I suppose<br>
replies here will tell.<br>
