I was hoping you could help me out.

I just received my Wouxun KG-UV6X. As expected it showed up with the keyboard locked.

I have a MAC running on OSX 10.9.2. There were several references on the internet suggesting that Chirp can unlock the keyboard.

I am using a USB cable that I have successfully worked with about 15 Wouxun UV3D's as well as a kenwood TH-F6, so I'm pretty darn sure my cable works.

I was able to download from radio on my new UV6X and upload to radio a few frequencies that I need for work tomorrow (Safety/Rescue technician for a large exploration project).

I am unable to unlock the menu feature on the radio.

I was expecting to be able to click on the settings button in Chirp and access that option, and others, from there (similar to the KG-UV3D's I've programmed. However, when I click on the Settings button I get nothing but a blank screen.

I tried to download the free software from the Wouxun site, but of course my OS does not support it.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
