I just tried these instructions without the cable attached. They
work!<br>
<br>
The [MONI] switch is the centre switch on the left side of the
radio. It has the the dimple in its centre. If you are pressing
this switch when you turn your radio on it should go into the menu
mode and allow you to select option 8 with the channel selector
knob.<br>
<br>
If this doesn't work then you may have a problem with your radio.<br>

I followed the instructions listed on the popup box just
before you read your radio (which has to occur first). The
instructions are:<br>
1. Turn radio off.<br>
2. Connect cable to MIC/SP jack.<br>
3. Press and hold in the [MONI] switch while turning the<br>
radio on.<br>
4. Rotate the DIAL job to select "F8 CLONE".<br>
5. Press the [F/W] key momentarily.<br>
6. After clicking OK, press the [PTT] switch to send image.<br>
There are instructions listed before you clone your radio
too.<br>

set. I have programmed a Yeasu FT-60, several Baofeng
