<html><body><div style="color:#000; background-color:#fff; font-family:HelveticaNeue, Helvetica Neue, Helvetica, Arial, Lucida Grande, sans-serif;font-size:12pt">This is a windows 7 PC. A little more detail missed a step start chirp and then try to read radio and nothing happens. The error appears when I try for the second time to read up from radio. The first attempt just stays blank at the chirp window. There is no box saying reading radio or status of down load. It appears that chirp is trying and taking control of the port and holding it. If I stop chirp after this and try to read using KW application I can read the radio. Let me know if there is anything else to check.<br><div><span><br></span></div><div style="display: block;" class="yahoo_quoted"> <br> <br> <div style="font-family: HelveticaNeue, Helvetica Neue, Helvetica, Arial, Lucida Grande, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;"> <div style="font-family:

Then tried it wil the kenwood software and was able to read the radio data. Is this a known problem? Any sugestions would be appreciated.</div>
