I'm running 64 bit OSX Mavericks 10.9 and a recent but not shiny new daily build I it's
chirp-daily-20131031. Installer went smooth. Said it would yank all other PL2303 drivers which it did and left
me with this one /dev/cu.PL2303-000013FA. Plugged the cable in, opened Chirp, selected the driver and
it read the radio perfectly. I then transfered the read data back to the radio, a KGUV6D-V2. Thanks for the
advise on the right click on the package. I'm going to CC this to the group, some Mac users might find
my input
either useful or annoying. Oh and on the MBP you can use a double finger gesture tap on the touchpad
to get a right click. And hats off to Jens for redoing the working driver in English.

Milton.

 From: Bob Nielsen <n7xy@clearwire.net>
To: Milton Hywatt <mhywattt@yahoo.com>; Discussion of CHIRP <chirp_users@intrepid.danplanet.com>
Sent: Thursday, December 5, 2013 1:43 PM
Subject: Re:
