Using CHIRP, look at the Firmware Message 1 on the Settings -> Other Settings menu to see the 'real' firmware version. I'm sure you will find that each radio has a different firmware version.<br>
<br></div><div class="gmail_extra">It is only the items on this menu (Other Settings) that do not get transferred when there is a firmware version mismatch. This is also the menu that you would use to edit the 'power up' messages.<br>
