Nothing wrong with my cable as it has worked fine before on these two machines when I had XP on them. Looks like the FT-60 uses the same type of cable that the VX-6 uses. I<br>
couldn't get any down loads with my VX-6. I noticed that the plug on<br>
the cable going to my radio had some screw threads on it near the<br>
covering and when I looked in the radio plug there were some there<br>
also. I then actually screwed the radio plug end of the cable into the<br>
plug on my radio and everything started working just fine. Made good<br>
contact I guess.<br>
