It came back with an error that it did not see header 0 so failed.</div><div>Then I tried it on Mac and it will not see the connected port at all to even try to hook up to the 7900.</div><div><br></div><div>I think I might be missing a driver in both the Mac and in Windows 7.</div><div><br></div><div>Phaeton, thank you for your advice as well I will give that ftb-7900 a try if I can not get CHIRP to connect.</div><div>Please dont become upset at anyone over my question. Nor is it likely the 7900 will operate </div><div>with the 7800 that is supported by Chirp. I've not heard of radios</div><div>that work with Chirp while being undocumented to do so. Roman">This is a fine program, and it works perfectly with my BAOFENG UV5RA, but for the life of me I can not get CHIRP to see my Yaesu FT-7900 R/E.<br>I have tried to use BOTH Mac and Windows, and while there are many other Yaesu models, the 7900 does not show up on the list.
