Now I am trying to get the same radio to connect with a Windows 7 64bit installation, and I can’t get squat. The system is connecting perfectly to the Kenwood software. I have tried the 2.2 install and I have tried copying the latest daily build to the CHIRP directory. In each case when I do download from radio, nothing happens. Screen stays empty inside the CHIRP window. I have to shut down CHIRP before I can try again.
