I thought the 'k5' and 'k6' were the same electronics in slightly
different cases. Just like all of the other variations on the UV-K5:
UV-K5(8), UV-5R Plus, Retevis RA79, etc. Do you have one? Have you
tried to read it using the UV-K5 model selection?
