FYI - I can confirm successful read/write to a SOCOTRAN 980PLUS using the
latest CHIRP build by using the "experimental" QYT 980PLUS radio selection
in Chirp.  I know that this may be old news. Still, I'm putting it out
there so that there is some compatibility noted on the internet since
information on the SOCOTRAN relabeled radios are either limited or missing
entirely.  Thank you!
