That is because a "blank radio template" is not compatible with any
radio model. You have to download from the radio to create a template
that is compatible with the radio. If you have another tab that you
want added to the tab from your radio, you can either load it into a
2nd tab and copy-and-paste between them or import it into the tab from
your radio.
