[chirp_users] UV-82 bricked?

Back in the 90s I wrote many of the programs ....... for the new idaho
Driver's License,  anticipating Y2K.
....The programs were written in Metrc and Imperial, and by setting a flag
in the programs, could run in either system. There was a possibility at the
time that US would switch.
.... I wish we had .... Metric is a much better system.
