[chirp_users] Google Chrome?

I would just go out and get a good older laptop. I use Thinkpads they are
built
like battleships and  you can get them all over the place, Put one of the
more
common linux distros on it (I use Ubuntu Mate but just about any of the
Debian
descendants will work) install Chirp and now you have a Chirpbook.

Also there are many other distros that will work, I am just most familiar
with
the Debian family.

Check Ebay for Thnkpads give it your top price and see what pops up.

Or the other option as someone pointed out is a Raspberry Pi. Works quite
well to.
In my view any of those solutions are better than dealing with Windows and
all of
the evil issues it brings with it (I see where Confiker, is back that is
what REALLY
finished souring me on Windows, I had a glass plant full of machines that
Confiker
had invaded, will not go into it except that it was a mess), Windows folks
any of
your comments will be sent to /dev/null. I got the tee shirt with the
bullet holes. I
have a very good understanding of Microsoft hell.
