[chirp_users] Fw: No USB Port Error

Glenn
Looking at your problem from a repair technicians viewpoint, you have
proven that your computer and cable are not at fault by testing with the
baofeng radio. The only part left is the Kenwood.

So what might be the problem? I suspect either the cable is not fitting
correctly or a fault in the radios sockets. There have been reports of
baofeng radios having a poorly moulded case which restricts the cable from
entering far enough to make a proper connection or maybe you are pushing
it too far creating the same problem. There is also the potential problem
of a faulty socket on the radio. Your eyesight problem may require you to
seek help in solving this. If another ham is not close, maybe a computer
geek can help you.

Good luck
Fred VA6FRM
