Hi Neil,

It is not currently supported. I did a little work with someone that
had one. From what I have seen, I don't think that it would be very
hard to add support for the KT-8R. Unfortunately the person with the
radio was no longer available to work with me with reverse engineering
and testing, so I was unable to continue. I've not been able to
convince myself to spend $60 to add another radio to my collection of
unused radios. ;-)
