[chirp_users] Programming memory channel and frequency on bao-feng UV-5r

 First  you  need  to  clear  the  channel  from  whats  still  on  it   from  last  setting  . .
To  Set  A  Baofeng  memory  Channel  

 Press  (  menu  )   Then   pick Item  28 .
( Delete  Memory  Channel )     Then  press Menu  Again  ,
Make  sure The  Display  Is   on  the  Number  of  the  channel  

You  want  to  replace        ,

If  it  is  not , use  the  arrows  to  make  it  be   .
  on  the  display   .

Then  again  press  the  menu  button    and  voice  will  say  (  Confirm  )  Then  press  the  (  EXIt  )    Button  .

Now  Switch  To  Frequency  Mode  .
Put  the  frequency  you  want  to  set   into  the  top Display  by  entering  Its  Numbers  on  the  key  pad  .

Make  sure  all  desired  settings  have  been  put  on  the ( Menu  ) Then  press  menu  and  select ( Memory  Channel  ) Item  27


 Press     menu  Press  the  numbers  of  the  channel  you  want  to  set  .
For  channel  one  you  need  to  press  zero  zero  one    .

 While  this  is  still  on  The    display  Press  the  Menu  button  Again  the  voice  Say   (  Receive  Frequency )

Press The  Menu   button   again    and The  voice  will  say  (Transmit  Frequency  )  Press  Menu  Again   Voice  says  Memory  Channel      Press  Exit  Button   Press  
 The  ( Exit  )  Button  To  Confirm  Setting  . 
 
Now  go  back  to  channel  Mode  And  see  if  your  new  setting  has  Been  placed  into  the  memory  by  pressing  the  up  or  down  arrows  . .

If  its  there  go  back  to  frequency  mode  and  set  the  Menu  Items  back  to  what  you  will  need  for  other  channels  .

 so  you  can  make  different  settings  for  each  memory    and  the  new  Frequency  will  be  on  the  desired   channel   Channel   numbers .
Accordingly  

 ( Note  ) -  Any  settings  left  on  menu   must  be  set  separately  for  each  memory  channel   Unless  running  a  new  chirp    designator  Map  .
