[chirp_users] Any attempt to program my radios

Heres my little experience with the Baofeng group and my HP laptop or
desktop both with Win 7 . . . . .. I bring up the program, plug in the
Cable to the correct port and then plug in the Radio to the cable, turn on
the radio, turn the radio volume up all the way. Set the radio down and
take a walk. Check the post box, or kill time some how usually about 7 to
10 minutes. What ever! Then I come back and it will read, or program that
radio all day long. But if I unplug the radio we have to start all over
again. It's a little time consuming but it works for my situation. This is
the radios I program that way Baofeng UV-82, 82HP, 82C, 82X. UV-5R. Anyway
I can program most anything else I & my friends have, and they come up
pretty quickly with out having to wait. The other radios I've programmed
are Yeasu 270R. Any Tone AT-868D. TYT MD-9600, TYT MD-380. Kenwood TK-860,
TK 860H, & Kenwood TK-840, to name a few of them and other than the Few
Baofengs I listed earlier I don't have to give that initial beginning wait
time. Weird? Don't know if this helps anyone but if nothing else it shows
things aren't always straight up easy. Sometimes we have to finess things a
little or alot. And sometimes it's by hard work or persistence and
sometimes it by accident like going to grab a soda like I did. Which goes
to show even slow people can get lucky or have a helpfull accident. 73's
Elmer's, & all.
