I didn't see the VX-150 explicitly listed as compatible.

But I did see the VX-170 listed, so can I use chirp for programming my
VX-150 by selecting the VX-170?

Thanks in advance.

I have a new Leixen VV-898SP backpack radio and it works OK with the
factory software. The problem I am having is the latest version of Chirp
won't allow me to input frequencies over 470 MHz. The radio transmits to
470 MHz and receives up to 520MHz. I need to use it to monitor public
safety on 470-490 MHz as a receive only radio. I have no need or desire
to transmit above 470 MHz. Can this be addressed somehow? Thanks Steve

Maybe try the 270.

Disregard that. Not thinking right.
