The UV-B5 and UV-B6 are both supported using the UV-B5 model
selection. Unless Baofeng has changed the way the radio communicates
with the software (which they've done from time to time), then it
should work with CHIRP. Give the factory software a try. If it does
not work, then it is most likely a device driver or cable connection
issue.
