[chirp_users] Radio Question

I've used Chirp to program the Yaesu VX-170 2M radio, I have two 
XV-177s, which is the 440 version on the 170, is Chirp able to handle 
the 177 (I don't see it listed), when I tried reading the radios as a 
170, it said out of band for this radio, so I'm guessing no.  Any  
advice from the group would be appreciated, I'm setting these up for a 
Volunteer Search Team, and don't want to spend $45 just to prorgram two 
radios
