These radios don't use or store offsets in a memory channel. Instead
they store the RX frequency and the TX frequency.

CHIRP takes the RX frequency, shift direction and shift amount to
compute the TX frequency and uploads it and the RX frequency to the
radio because that is what it requires.

So when a memory channel is programmed where the TX frequency is not
the same as as RX frequency (such as a repeater, odd-split, cross-band
or TX inhibited channel), a "+-" will be indicated in the upper status
display.

When menu 21 (MDF-A) or menu 22 (MDF-B) is set to FREQ, then the radio
will display the RX frequency. You can either press the PTT button or
tap the [*] key to put the radio in reverse mode to see the TX
frequency.
