[chirp_users] UV-5R EX problem

Hi, I got the new variation on the uv-5r (uv-5r ex). Trying to get it to
program I kept getting "radio fail to respond". I discovered if you put
pressure on the radio end of the cable you can read the radio. Evidently
the jack is recessed a little more than on that model so it won't reach to
make contact. You might can trim the connector back a bit and make it work.
