[chirp_users] New user, and question on diagnosing new radio

Thanks Neil. I've just been looking at the links from John, and yeah, 
getting a sense that there's lots more going on there.


In terms of being able to just talk to the radio though, are they 
different? Basically wondering if software could read the whole works, 
update the bits it does understand, and then put it all back.


The openspot devices look interesting too, thanks.
