Skip does work. Chirp really is good for this....I use a 5R on my desk to monitor local authorities and the highway crews (I work for Dept of Highways), and there are some stations like the continuous weather frequency that I give an ‘S’ in Chirp so that they’ll be skipped during Scan mode.
