[chirp_users] Looking for assistance

I'm at the point now where I have tried all the suggestions to no
avail. I suppose I have to assume a faulty radio or cable, not operator
error or wrong settings. I will have to wait until I can take the radio
back to the US with me next summer when I can have others take a look at
it. Thanks to all who made suggestions.
