[chirp_users] Rugged vs Baofeng

For around 30 bucks they work well. On eBay you can buy a battery eliminator and larger batteries. The larger batteries have a charging port on them but I’m not sure if you can run the radio and charge at the same time. You can get a battery case that holds 6 AA's if you want. I would pick up a programing cable for 10 bucks and use the free "chrip" programing software.

Subject: [chirp_users] Rugged vs Baoffeng

I have a Rugged RH-5R that looks to be the same radio as a Baoffeng UV-5X3. What I would like to know are they the same? and and if so can I use chirp on my Rugged? as it is not listed on the support list.
