[chirp_users] CB Freq. With Baofeng

I have a question,
And since it is off-topic, let's not get too many responses...
Why are the lower frequencies only AM in the U.S.?
Does AM propigate better at this frequency?

No. These radios cover 130-174 MHz and 400-520 MHz and RX/TX FM only.

CB is 26-27 MHz and RX/TX AM and SSB only.
