[chirp_users] New vv-898s

 Last month I bought a Liexen vv-898s.  It has taken me a good while to figure out how to use
the software that came with it.
    I can work repeaters, however I have to set the squelch at zero in order to receive. Even with
a 7db antenna at 30 at the base.
    The version I have is 1.05.  I understand that the chirp software at the moment does not work
with this version.
    What can I do? This TXCVR fits perfectly in my 2016 Nissan Frontier.  I really want to keep it.
