Steve,

Your radio has a setting in it that is our-of-range for one of the
menus. This usually happens when there is one or more corrupted bytes
in the radio's memory. Examining the debug.log file may give a clue
which setting is out-of-range.

Once you have saved the original image to a file as a backup, a
possible solution is to reset the radio and download from it again.
Hopefully the settings menus will then show and you can import the
channels from your backup image file into your radio.

You must not directly upload an image save from one radio into a radio
with a different firmware version. They are different so CHIRP is
correctly stopping the upload.
