Supposedly, there is a recent FTDI driver update that will send nonsense data through a clone chip. An attempt to once again defeat cloned chips. This is within the last couple months. Mine is an RT systems cable, so I know it is good.

My understanding is that the driver that caused problems was pulled. Has anyone hit this issue this calendar year where a driver update broke a ftdi cable?
