FindComPort is a totally different app, used for a totally different
purpose than what Portmon and Free Device Monitoring Studio is used
for.

I have FindComPort, but it is just as quick for me to look in Device
Manager to find the com port that was assigned to my USB programming
cables.

I've also got Free Device Monitoring Studio and have never had any
problems with it. I only use it when I must capture the serial
transfer on a 64-bit Windows computer. I like the log.file that
Portmon provides better so I will use it on my Windows XP (32-bit)
laptop.
