[chirp_users] chirp problems

can't down load from radio.

daily build 20151009 installed on Ubuntu 14.04 LTS

((failed to communicate with radio: device reports readiness to read but
returned no dada (device disconnected?)) Error   no other code numbers. I
get this wile trying to download from a BF-F8HP and a FT1D

This problem left the BF-HP as it was before the attempt to download and
wiped the memory on the FT1D

I tryed the same cables and radios on a different computer with windows
vista and chirp build 20150405 programming worked on both units. not sure
if I'm missing something or if this a chirp problem.  I'd Like to try back
dating to 20151009 on the Ubuntu unit. can someone give me the terminal
command line to back date chirp. or any other help would be appreciated.
