[chirp_users] error Programming FT897

not sure how to reply directly to the list absent an email (was on digest
mode) so did not get the message.
so, I am in clone mode
cable plugged in
menu is set to CAT
press the <> buttons while power on
click OK on Chirp
press the snd (C) button on ft897
it sits there for a bit, then gets error,
eventually Chirp times out with error
