Except for a small batch about a year ago with 28 menus, UV-B5/B6
radios have always had 29 menus. Now it seems that there are a few
radios (like yours) that are shipping with only 27 menus. In
additional to the 2 menus that have been removed, the radios with 27
menus do not support the "test mode settings". The test mode settings
start at 0x0f10, so once the transfer gets to this point, the radio
decides that is received all it needs and stop acknowledging the
remainder of the transfer.

Another than this error near the end of the transfer (at the start of
the test mode settings), the channels and setting are uploaded
normally.
