Having used electronic mail since September of 1988, I may be able to shed some light on this phenomenon of people who are not able to use the self serve facilities of this email list despite the instructions shown at the TOP OF EVERY EMAIL (digest).  We have since September of 1993 been in an Eternal September[1][2]. We can expect this to continue until all 7 billion people (currently) on this planet have been educated in email and general net etiquette.
