It appears you are trying to set the wrong field…

Under DUPLEX, select to OFF option

I've populated my local police and fire frequencies into my 8D.  The only issue is, CHIRP tells me that setting the offset to "off" so that the frequency is Rx only is not supported on the 8D.

 

What have others done to make frequencies Rx only?
