[chirp_users] Baofeng UV-5R Frequency mod

On the F-11 Baofeng you cannot key in 100.000 mhz.
And this radio is a UV5R in sheep's clothing. Not sure
that it's unique firmware prohibits keying in out of
band frequencies but it does cover FM broadcast
from 76 to 108 mhz. So I don't know why you can't
key in FM broadcast into the VFO. That must be a
different part of the radio separate from the VFO.
Also you can't enter the FM broadcast mode while
in VFO mode and I don't think you can have FM
broadcast frequencies saved. So I'd like to know
of another UV5R owner that can key in 100.000 mhz.

I don't think the VFO will let you key in a leading ZERO

I don't have a radio handy so I can't verify this, but I believe you would set STEP=10KHz, key in 100.000 and then press the down arrow key until you get to 076.040
