[chirp_users] Offset

Hi JL,
Not sure what you are seeing.
In chirp, the frequency column is the rx fre.
If duplex column is:
(none): then tx freq is same as rx freq. This is "simplex"
- or +: tx freq is offset from the rx freq by the amount in offset column
split: the offset column contains the exact tx freq
off:  (if the radio supports it), tx should be disabled (or set to something that is effectively disabled, like 0.000 MHz)

Does that make sense? If you are not seeing the same, please let us know what radio you are trying to program.

How do I set the transmit frequency offset higher (+) or lower (-) than the receive frequency? Or must I use the actual frequency as the offset?
