[chirp_users] Tone mode revisited

Ok well I guess all my marbles are still there.
I hadn't used Chirp with the AT-588UV because
I do most of my settings on a Mac. But in the 

shack I have a PC running Win 7 and the OEM
software installed. I have cables for the AT-588UV
and the Wouxun and Baofeng plugged into a USB
HUB so they can stay there. Otherwise you end up
playing driver musical chairs in Win 7. Also have
another set of cables for the Mac. all 4 cables are
genuine PL2303 chipped. So I started playing around 

with Chirp and the Anytone radios just recently. I like
the Chirp software and what it does for the Chinese hand 

held radios I have. And I wanted all 5 of my Chinese radios
to be on the same page so I imported direct from the hand
helds to the mobiles. There were some settings that weren't 

relevant to the mobiles so those had to be edited. But otherwise it
was an easy process. It was then when I found out I had a problem
with CTCSS decode that left me scratching my head.

One of the many things that Chirp does not do when it comes to the Anytone.
The population of the Tone and ToneSql columns when reading from the radio
is just one of my peeves that forces me to keep using the OEM software when
I enjoy using Chirp for my other radios.
