I think this can be done without sending me a radio.

If Mike has a 32-bit Windows computer available and using the Baofeng
software, can capture a download from the radio and an upload to the radio
with Microsoft's Portmon software in hex mode and email them to me, that
may be all I need to get things started. I'd at least like to try that
before mailing any radios or spending any money.

Mike... email me off list if you think you can do this and I will give you
more details.

Also, are we all talking about the same radio. Earlier today Mike said
BF-V6. Jack, isn't what you have a UV-6? These are completely different
radios.
