[chirp_users] Programing issues with CHIRP and Baofeng UV-5RA

Thanks for the information. I checked my driver on the Xp machine and installed the latest daily, That seems too have fixed the non-frequency settings issues.

Wrong driver. My bet is that your programming cable has an unauthorized copy of the Prolific USB-to-Serial chip. This requires you to downgrade to the v3.2.0.0 driver.

You have to download from the radio first to get a spreadsheet template that is compatible with the radio that you are programming.

I would recommend that you use the latest daily build of CHIRP. You are missing out on a lot of additional features and improvements that have occurred since the April 2013 release of v0.3.1.
