[chirp_users] Strange Situation

I have the TYT TH-UV5R. When I use Chirp software to program the radio the 
radio connects to the computer and when I try to upload from the radio to 
the computer the light on the radio flashes and appears to upload the data 
to the program. I see where there is a tab showing the TYT upload but 
nothing shows (no radio frequency contents) in the program and I don't see 
the data in any program folder.

Can someone kindly point me in the right direction in order to use Chirp.
