Hi John,
It appears to support UV-82 from the wiki page, and looking at the driver code.
As there are so many variations (some of them being in name or physical appearance, and not in code or memory format), you would just have to give it a try. If it doesn't work, then you will probably want to open a new model request on chirp site.

This is the model that is is VHF/220.
