The VX5 and generic Yaesu code is unchanged since the 0.3.0 release,
so any perceived difference in behavior is not due to difference in
code. Will you try it again a few times with 0.3.0? Maybe you're just
not getting a solid connection on your connector, so it's not working
consistently.
