I remember reading recently, cannot seem to find it now... That the Chinese radio Baofeng 5r was not being used for a CERT group because of a reason. Can anyone recall or explain why these radios are being discouraged to be used? Something about frequency separation or bleed over??? Any pros/cons? John G.
