Jim,

The UV5R uses 1 memory to store VHF and UHF for both A and B . The same
information you program will show up exactly the same on both top and
bottom. only difference is you can change on what you want to have
monitored on top/bottom by scrolling through your memory and finding 2
different frequencies of your choice..
