Jim,

Have your read the manual for the program?

How it is supposed to work is:

1)  You download your radio's memories using CHIRP.
2)  You edit using a spread sheet program, such as OpenOffice, LibreOffice
or MicroSoft Office, saving as the same type file that you opened.
3)  Uploading to the radio with CHIRP the changed file.

Can you confirm that you've done this?
