Actually, you can cut out a step. You dont need to export to csv.

.img are the radio "image" files, which are representations of the radio's memory, and therefore specific to your exact model, and in most cases, the exact radio.
Therefore, you cannot just open image from radio A and upload it to image B.

For copying channels from radio A to B:
1. download from radio A, and save as A.img
2. download from radio B and save as B.img (or alternatively, open a recently saved image from B)
3. in radio B's layout, do file, import. change the type from "chirp files (*.chirp)" to "chirp radio images (*.img)"

This will engage the import feature, just as if you had gone through additional, intermediate steps of exporting to and importing from csv, which isnt completely necessary.

As others have pointed out, you can also just do copy and paste.

Oh, and thanks for the tip on Import/Export.  It's been a long day and I 
missed trying that.  Looks like I can export my HT file as a .csv and 
then import it into a new file and load into the Anytone. Will mess 
around with it more tomorrow.
